Cinnamon-Pineapple Scampi Sauce

"I used this sauce for dipping chicken nuggets into. But it does go great with shrimp."

• Yields: 2 cs.

ingredients

• 1 (16 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
• 1⁄2 cup honey
• 1 tablespoon cornstarch
• 1 dash cinnamon (to taste)

directions

1. Combine ingredients in 2 quart saucepan.
2. Cook over medium high heat, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened and heated through, about 3 to 5 minutes.
