Questions & Replies

  1. Deb Price, daughter of King's founder Larry Price, has clarified the original King's recipe used Kraft dressing (like Miracle Whip) instead of mayo, crumbled cracker meal instead of cornflake meal, and powdered cheese (like the stuff you get with cheap mac'n'cheese) in the batter.

  2. Crunchy corn flake crusted deep fried sandwiches, oozing with cheese, yum! Used only 2/3 cup flour for the batter. Served with taco sauce.

  3. Made these for dinner tonight with tomato soup. Yummy. I substituted whole wheat bread, and half whole wheat flour, along with fat free milk and fat free cheese. I can't imagine they could taste any better.

  4. Delicious. Creamy and tasty. I did add cheese powder and some seasonings.
