I didn't have the ingredients to make this fresh lemonade when I wanted to try it, but I had some sparkling pink lemonade on hand, so I used that. Along with the champagne it was really bubbly, which was fine, but I think it diluted some of the flavor potential. When I do it again, I'll go for straight lemonade. To top this perfect summertime cocktail off I dropped a couple fresh strawberries in the flutes - not only did it look pretty but the strawberries soaked up the liquid and were yummy afterward. For a quick fix it was really good and I can't wait to try it Kathy's way!
