  • Add the beans, tahini, lime juice, olive oil, and garlic to a food processor fitted with a steel blade.
  • Cover and process until pureed.
  • Add in the scallions and cumin; cover and process until just combined.
  • Variation--add1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro and Tabasco sauce to taste.
