    cups white rice, uncooked, can use brown

    cup chopped green pepper

    cup diced celery

    (8 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1
    (10 ounce) can beef consomme
  • 1
    (10 ounce) can water, from the beef consomme
  • 12
    teaspoon salt
  • 12
    teaspoon pepper
  • 1
    tablespoon chopped parsley

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together. Pour into a casserole dish.
  • Cover and bake at 350 for about 1 hour, stirring and replacing cover halfway through cooking time.
  • Mixture should be slightly brown.
