ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1⁄2 cups vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 (16 ounce) jar applesauce
- 1⁄4 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
directions
- Sift dry ingredients together into large mixing bowl.
- Make well in center and add wet ingredients.
- Beat for 4 minutes.
- Pour into greased bunt pan and bake at 350 for one hour.
- Mix last 4 ingredients with enough milk to make it ‘drippy’ – it doesn’t take much.
- Spread on cake while it is still warm.
