This is an excellent cake that will please everyone. I used fresh apples because that is what I had on hand. This is a very moist cake and the glaze is a perfect topping. This is a keeper and I can't wait to make it again. Thanks for sharing this, Carole in Orlando.

I made this as directed. It seems to me to have a more oatmeal and walnut taste than apple.

This was wonderful! I had some dried apples around that nobody in my house would eat, and this was the perfect way to use them up. The cake was very moist, and the glaze was great! Thanks!

Delicious!!! I made this yesterday and took it over to my neibhours house for a get-together, and it had rave reviews, everyone just loved it. As Sharon, I used fresh Granny Smith apples, and used half and half cream instead if milk for a more fluffier texture. This was the most delicious and moist cake, we all enjoyed it very much... I sent home the recipe with three people! Thanks so much for sharing Carole, I will be making this again...Kittencal:)

This is a good apple walnut coffee cake! I didn't have dried apples so used fresh ones. I added a little apple juice to the mix. The glaze was a nice touch. Thanks for a yummy coffee cake!!!
