Ancho Chili and Lime Marinade

"I love this marinade! I marinated fajita steak strips for less than an hour and it was still very flavorful. Ancho chile power is mild, so don't be afraid. Oh, I can't say it enough...season meat with salt before cooking."

  1. This marinade is really easy to make and the orange and lime juice are a great way to tenderize meats, not to mention, they add a wonderful tangy flavor. We love ancho chili powder because it adds such great depth of flavor, but not much heat. Made this last night and I have some skirt steak marinating in the refrigerator. Thanks for posting this recipe!! Made for Everyday is a Holiday tag, December, 2011.
