4-6
ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 5 slices bacon
- 3 slices ham, sandwich slices
- 2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans cream of celery soup
- 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
- garlic powder, to taste
- white pepper, to taste
directions
- Cut each chicken breast into 1/3's. Place in bottom of non-stick sprayed crock pot. Top with bacon that has been cut into small slices, (like what you would cut to make bacon bits for on top of a casserole), and thin slices of chopped sliced ham. Sprinkle garlic (I used about 1/3 teaspoon) and white pepper ( I used 1/4 teaspoon). In seperate bowl combine soup and evaporated milk. Pour over the chicken and cover. Cook on high for 4 hours then low one hour stirring once when you switch it to low. I offered a choice of rice or mashed potatoes to serve this over. My family likes both.

I am the proud momma to 24 children. Yes, twenty-four. My husband and I had 6 then took in 18 troubled teens. They are all grown now and have blessed us with 13 grandchildren.
But with all those mouths I have a entire library of recipes. None of those books compares to the ease of the recipezaar.com site or the help I have found through fellow down home cooking enthusiasts that I have had the honor of meeting here.
My true love is to find recipes that have been modified to use a crock pot, since my schedule is so crazy, that do not have the flavour or the texture get lost in translation.
