ingredients
- 3⁄4 cup milk
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons fat
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
directions
- Mix-dumplings and roll to one inch thickness. Cut with small cutter.
- Drop 2 or 3 at a time in hot fat.
- Have ready another kettle of boiling molasses, as soon as fried, drop into boiling molasses
- Remove and drain.
