  1. This is a good recipe but next time I will omit the onion soup mix (store-bought). But I will use onion flakes, beef bouillon powder low-salt. Because the sauce was too salty. The pork was so easy to shred and yummy. I used the water. Thanks Taylor's Mommy :) Made for Cookbook tag game

  2. Before I get on with the review, I'm very pleased to be the first to rate this recipe. :) Instead of using regular Cream of Mushroom, Golden Mushroom was used (just a personal choice). And since I've cooked similar type recipes, I knew 1 cup of water would have been too much so it was left out. With my crockpot, it only took about 6 hours to cook it to perfection. This recipe was served with Recipe#305588 and Recipe#243562, all together it made a very enjoyable meal. Thank you for posting a very easily put together recipe that deserves more than 5 stars, that certainly will be made again. Made for Spring PAC 2012. " Keep Smiling :) "

  3. This recipe made a wonderful tender moist roast and the gravy made from the drippings was so good it didn't need any additional seasonings. My DH loved the meat so much he had 3 helpings. I will definitely follow this recipe again. Made for PAC Spring 2013.

  4. This had a very weird taste. Followed the recipe to a tee and it was bland and watery. I let it sit to thicken a bit and it never thickened enough not to be watery. I served with home made mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. Taste was weird. Used brand name ingredients and a 2# pork tenderloin. Family very much disliked it and ate the sides only. I wanted to like it but could not.

  5. This is a wonderful dump and go slow cooker meal. Nothing to it. I did salt and pepper the tenderloin (always do) . Meat is so tender, it falls apart when trying to slice.

Tweaks

  1. I added fresh sliced mushrooms

  2. I used 4.5 lb pork loin roast instead of tenderloin. I trimmed most of the fat off of the loin since it was going in the crock pot I brined the pork for 6 hrs in a simple brine to add flavor because I removed most of the fat and reviews said it was bland without the gravy. Doubled the mushroom soup, left the onion soup mix as it was and omitted the water. 6 hrs on low. Served with pasta but would also be good with rice. Excellent and easy recipe!
