Yeast Free Crescent Rolls!

"I suffer from Candida Albican and can't have yeast but wanted to still eat crescent rolls! I came upon this recipe from Better Batter and this is awesome!"

  • 14 cup butter, room temperature
  • 34 3/4 cup shredded cheese or 3/4 cup cultured nut cheese
  • 1 cup flour (any flour, can even be gluten free)

directions

  • In the bowl of your mixer, combine all ingredients to form dough. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill 2 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • On lightly floured surface roll the dough into a 14 inch circle. Cut into 8 triangles.
  • Roll each triangle from wide end to tip, turning ends to form a crescent shape.
  • Place on baking stone or cookie sheet.
  • Bake 30 minute till golden.
  • Serve warm.

  1. It didn't turn out for me. I guess I did something wrong. After combining the ingredients no dough formed, just a crumbly mix so I form the dough myself by semi kneading it. Chilled it for 2 hours but when I went to rolled it out it turned back into a crumbly mess. Even the amount I was able to roll out, once I tried to roll the triangles it fell apart. Big fail ??

  1. Add 2 tbsp of water, cut into small squares, use a toothpick to put a hole in the middle and you have homemade cheez it’s..
     
  2. umm, i think you forgot water... just add 4 ounces of watter and youll be fine
