ingredients
- 414.03 ml oats
- 3 egg whites
- 177.44 ml unsweetened applesauce
- 4.92 ml vanilla
- 177.44 ml unsweetened cocoa
- 118.29 ml plain nonfat yogurt
- 2.46 ml cream of tartar
- 7.39 ml baking powder
- 7.39 ml baking soda
- 1.23 ml salt
- 236.59 ml water (hot)
- 236.59 ml sugar substitute (splenda granular)
- 118.29 ml semi-sweet chocolate chips (can use white chocolate or peannut butter chips)
directions
- Heat oven to 350, line 12 muffins with paper liners or spray muffin tin with non stick spray.
- In a food processor, mix all of the ingrredients together (except chips), blend until oats are ground and mixture is smooth,.
- Place mixture in bowl and gently stir in 1/2 of the chocolate chips, scooop mixture into prepared pans.
- Bake in oven 10 min, remove muffins and distribute the other half of the chips on top of each muffin.
- Return to oven, bake another 2-5 min or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool before serving.

I also found this on the same website as you, thanks for sharing as I'm sure it will fit for some. They taste like diet food and were missing the texture I was craving. Recipe #19424 has a better texture with slightly fewer calories. The protein can be tweaked by using almond flour, etc. I'm going to opt for that one and try adding coco powder next time and the 1/2 cup applesauce I always add for moisture.
