  • 1 cup cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1 egg white, stiffly beaten
  • oil (for frying)

directions

  • Preheat oil to 375F in a large saucepan.
  • Mix the first four ingredients together; fold in egg white.
  • Form into small balls and fry until golden brown.

  1. I tried twice. Once frying on the stove then deep frying. Neither worked for me. The mixture held well but when it hit the oil they didn't keep their shape and worse luck, stuck to the bottom of the pan/fryer basket. Sorry, Molly, must be something I do wrong but just can't figure it out. Tried for the Regional Tag Game.
