"If you like chocolate you'll love these with a nice cold glass of milk. I got this recipe from a friend about 25 years ago. Use to make these for my children and now they make them for there children. Yum"

ingredients

• Batter

• 1 cup sugar
• 2 cups flour
• 1⁄2 cup cocoa
• 1⁄2 cup Crisco
• 1 egg
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup milk
• 2 teaspoons vanilla

• Filling

• 1⁄2 cup marshmallow cream
• 1⁄2 cup Crisco
• 2 cups confectioners' sugar
• 1 tablespoon milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

directions

1. Preheat oven to 400 .Mix all ingredients for batter together on med. speed for 1 minute. Drop by tablespoon on baking sheet and bake for about 10 to 12 minutes until firm. Cool.
2. Mix filling ingredients together and beat on med speed for about 1 minute.
