  1. Combine dry ingredients.
  2. Add milk, oil and eggs.
  3. Mix until smooth.
  4. Bake about six minutes in waffle iron.

Delicious. I had a hard time getting the males in my family to try them because I made the mistake of saying "wheat germ", but once they did they were impressed. Thanks for posting. By the way, I used Splenda in place of the sugar.

really yummy! myhusband likes them, too, though my son wasn't thrilled -- too "real" for him. One time I left out the nutmeg, and they tasted really flat.

Really food waffle, but with healthier low fat modifications-but tasted fantastic as well.
Made a 2 serving portion -subbed most of oil for unsweetened apple sauce, Splenda for sugar, 2/3 of the salt, added 2 tablespoons of Flax Seed, and used egg whites instead.
Came out great. Then when finished -topped with fresh fruit and ED Smith low fat syrup. Tasty
