- 16 ounces fresh cranberries
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
- 2 tablespoons orange liqueur (in place of some OJ if desired)
directions
- Combine ingredients in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until berries pop open, about 10 minutes. At end of cooking, skim and discard the foam that rises to the top.
- Cool, refrigerate covered. Will keep in refrigerator for up to two months.
