These are from the Watkins Cookbook Copyright 1938
- 1⁄2 cup light corn syrup
- 2 cups sugar
- 1⁄8 teaspoon watkins cream of tartar
- 1⁄2 cup watkins cocoa
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon watkins vanilla
- Mix sugar and cocoa, add milk, cook until soft ball stage.
- Remove from fire, add butter and vanilla.
- Let cool.
- Beat about 15 minutes or until creamy.
- Pour in to buttered pan, cut into squares.
