- 1 cup roughly chopped anchovy fillet
- 1⁄3 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1⁄2 teaspoon sherry wine vinegar
- In a bowl combine anchovies, oil, mustard, garlic, honey and vinegar and heat over simmering water in a double boiler, stirring until anchovies are dissolved, about 20 minutes.
- Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate up to 3 days. Reheat before serving.
