Virginia's Easy & Mild Spaghetti Sauce

"Sick of Serving Sour Spaghetti Sauce? If so here is a sauce that is mild yet tasty. If I hadn't eaten this sauce before requesting the recipe, I doubt I would have tried it since the ingredients seem unlikely. This is an accomodating sauce; add your favorite sauteed veggies or use Italian sausage and they will work well since the base is so nice. Add more or less tomato juice to obtain desired consistency. If putting this into a crockpot, add more juice for cooking down. I serve this with angelhair pasta and shredded mozarella cheese as my friend, Virginia, did when we first ate this. This recipe makes "comfort food" out of spaghetti sauce!"

I have the privilege of doing what I love: Having a floral business out of our historical, Italianate home in a special little town. Now if we could add a little greenhouse/cafe' to it, our dreams would be reality. I'm passionate about living the Christian life, being a wife, mom and business woman. I have been homeschooling 5 kids forever! What a blast; what a privilege! Cooking, landscaping, interior decorating are 3 more of multiple passions. Cookbooks used to be an obsession, but after so many years of cooking, I'm gladly to the point that I can throw things together w/o them to survive happily. Now collecting recipes on this sight is a bonus! I have a newlywed daughter, and I find recipes for her! It's an excuse to take a break from work! One pet peeve is that parents are not teaching their kids to eat a great variety of nutritional foods. Their palates are soooo limited! I think this is a HUGE mistake! Enough said!
