- Bake 8-10 minutes at 350°.
amazing butter cookie. I used butter, not margarine. Cooked them until just stared to turn gold on edges, cooled for about 1 minute on cookie sheet, then moved to rack. They were melt in your mouth. They need nothing else-. The second sheet I made I slightly undercooked. Still good but a bit chewy. I am using these-unadorned as part of a bite-sized dessert tray for Christmas eve
I made these with solid margarine as stated. Baked ten minutes at 350, until golden on bottom and just barely starting to get golden on upper edges. These are like a crispy yet top layer chewy sugar cookie. Very good plain. I am going to put powdered sugar on all sides (dredging ) on some and place in a container to see how that is too. No there is no vinegar or soda taste. All in all this is a fast good cookie.. I recommend everyone giving this one a try for this Christmas cookie tray.
