- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Clearly not the most descriptive directions, but this cake was really really good! This recipe made 2 9-inch round cakes which I stacked with frosting in the middle. I made it un-vegan :( by using real cream cheese in the frosting. Next time I make it I would use less sugar in the cake, maybe 1 cup.
