Tuna Buns

  • 2 (185 g) cans tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1 12 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 23 cup bick's tangy dill relish
  • 12 cup celery, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons onions, finely chopped
  • 13 cup mayonnaise
  • 12 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 8 hot dog buns or 8 crusty rolls, split

directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Combine all ingredients except buns. Mix well.
  • Fill buns wiht tuna mixture. Wrap individually in foil.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes. if desired, open foil and bake 3 minutes longer to crisp buns.
  • NOTE: Tuna buns wrapped in foil, are great cooked on the barbecue.
  • Freezing not recommended.

  1. I had not had a tuna melt in ages! This was really good. I didn't add the celery, as I didn't have any on hand, and I omitted the garlic salt. Did not know what "bick's" was, so I used regular sweet relish instead.

Her sweets are fantastics, especially her pound cakes, Yummm <br> <br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
