Without a doubt this recipe gets 5 stars. We loved these. True comfort food. My only change was to use half the amount of mayo called for. The onion rolls really set these apart. Thanks so much for sharing. I'll be making these again.

Really good! My husband doesn't really like tuna and he liked it. My 4 year old ate 1 1/2 sandwiches! Used a little less mustard, yellow onions instead of green, and a dash of lemon juice. Also used about 1/2 of the relish with a little pickle juice because I don't like so many pickle chunks in it. Made one without cheese and it was really good too! I will definitely make this again!

This was a very good sandwich. I shared them for lunch with a friend who loves tuna melts. She couldn't believe how easy and scrumptious these were. I omitted the sweet pickle relish, as I don't care for it. I added a bit of garlic powder and a dash of cayenne and used some hamburger bakery rolls that I had on hand. The outside of the rolls were crispy and toasty and the filling was cheesy and flavorful. Absolutely a great quick lunch item.

Very nice! We made these for a lazy Sunday night meal served with cantaloupe and homemade lemonade. Very quick to fix and easy cleanup. Thank you for posting this recipe.

Such a good sandwich! So cheesy! I used hamburger buns because I don't like onion buns. The ingredients blended together so well.
