I haven't tried this one yet (and if anyone in central PA knows where to get Safflower oil, please let me know) but I love Thousand Island.
- 2⁄3 cup light evaporated skim milk
- 2⁄3 cup bottled chili sauce
- 2⁄3 cup safflower oil
- 1⁄4 cup sweet pickle relish
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Using a wire whisk combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
- Refrigerate until well chilled and serve.
