The Best Cheesecake Ever!

"The only thing I got out of my marriage was this recipe and let me tell you what it was almost worth it. :) This recipe came from my ex-husbands great aunt. It is the best cheesecake I've ever had. It's got an amazing top layer that really sets it apart from other cheesecakes. You will need a 9 inch springform pan. cooking time doesn't include chilling time."

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir together.
  • Add melted margarine and stir together.
  • Pat mix into bottom of the pan (it will only cover the bottom, there will be no side crust). Set to the side.
  • With mixer on medium, blend together cream cheese and sugar.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Beat in eggs 1 at a time.
  • Pour mixture into pan and bake at 350 for 45mins.
  • Topping:.
  • With mixer blend sour cream, sugar, and vanilla on medium until smooth.
  • Once the cake is done baking, remove from oven and pour on the topping mix. Bake for an additional 5mins at 425.
  • Let cool for 20mins then refrigerate overnight.
