Teriyaki Beef Soup

"Another gem from Better Homes and Gardens. I make this without the beef for a vegetarian meal. I also like to use brown rice and add 1/3 cup barley. It will take much longer to cook with brown rice and barley."

  • Cook the beef, set aside.
  • Boil broth, water, carrots, rice, ginger and garlic 15 minutes, until the rice is cooked.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and the beef and cook for 3 minutes.
