- 473.18 ml cored and chopped granny smith apples
- 236.59 ml chopped mixed dried fruit (, no dates)
- 354.88 ml seeded and chopped lemons, do not peel
- 118.29 ml chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4.92 ml mustard seeds
- 236.59 ml white raisins
- 236.59 ml light brown sugar
- 118.29 ml white sugar
- 236.59 ml dry white wine
- 236.59 ml toasted slivered almonds
- 59.14 ml gin
directions
- Place all ingredients except nuts and gin in a large, heavy saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes, stirring often.
- Do not boil, only simmer.
- Remove from heat and stir in toasted nuts and gin.
- Immediately pour into hot sterilized one-cup canning jars and seal with prepared lids.
