Strawberry Float Punch

"This is a delicious and very simple spring-time punch. Next time, I think I'll freeze strawberries to use as ice cubes in addition to the regular ice cubes. You could vary ice cream flavors with this punch (i.e., rainbow sherbet, cherry, etc) for a completely different punch. I found the recipe at www.cooks.com. Serving size is estimated because it wasn't listed."

  • Put half the bag of ice into the punch bowl.
  • Add ginger ale.
  • Add a half gallon of ice cream and stir to mix. Taste mixture and add another half gallon of strawberry ice cream if desired.
  • Make sure you don't let the punch foam while adding the ice cream.
