Very good and easy to make. I followed the recipe as written other then I didn't add the onions or peppers as I was just looking for a macaroni & cheese recipe. I didn't add any of the optional ingredients either. We all enjoyed this. My boys thought it had a sharp taste but I used mild cheddar cheese. Next time I will omit the mustard and see if that helps. If that doesn't I will try some different cheese. All in all a really good recipe. My kids are very picky about their macaroni and cheese and they enjoyed this. I liked that the recipe didn't use flour. Quick and easy side dish. I will be making this again.

This is very tasty, quick and easy - my favorite kind of recipe! Used a bit of orange & red bell pepper I had in the freezer. Also added a sprinkle of black pepper. Used 1/4 tsp less salt and about 1 Tbsp parmesan. Would be good with a mix of cheddar and American cheese. Thanks for the recipe foodtvfan!

I was intrigued by this recipe. It turned out really good. I needed a quick side dish and this is the one I chose...I'm glad I did. Cooking the macaroni in the milk made it rich. I cut the recipe in half. I didn't use green peppers (personal preference), and I added 2 slices of american cheese. Thanks for posting a quick, easy and unique recipe.
