From Orlando Sentinel- If you add 1 lb cubed firm tofu as you stir-fry the asparagus, this becomes a protein filled main dish. Serve with brown or basamati rice. Use medium thickness asparagus, trimmed and cut into a 2 inch length on the diagonal (about 30 asparagus)

  1. For the sauce, dissolve cornstarch in water or broth. Add remaining ingredients and whisk to combine.
  2. For vegetables heat oil on high heat in saute pan or wok, Add asparagus, red pepper and green onions. Stir-fry 2-3 minutes. Add sauce and continue to stir-fry until the asparagus is crisp tender and sauce thickens in pan.
