This is from a book called "The Complete Book of Japanese Cooking". It originally called for peanuts. Sesame Seeds are another option.

- Grind walnuts in an electric grinder. Transfer walnuts to a small bowl, add sugar, dashi, and soy. Mix thoroughly.
- Blanch spinach in boiling water for about 30 seconds. Drain and revive under cold water. Gently squeeze out excess water.
- Place Spinach on four plates, and spoon portion of sauce over each.
