- 4 center-cut pork chops
- 4.92 ml garlic powder
- 4.92 ml seasoning salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 59.14 ml flour
- 236.59 ml Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 59.16 ml olive oil
- 396.89 g can chicken broth
- 4.92 ml beef base
- 14.79 ml honey dijon mustard
- 4.92 ml soy sauce
- 44.37 ml flour
- 59.14 ml cold water
directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Rinse pork chops, pat dry and season both sides with garlic powder and seasoning salt. Place the beaten egg in a small bowl. Dredge pork chops lightly in flour, dip in egg and coat with bread crumbs.
- Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the pork chops 4-5 minutes per side, or until breading appears well browned. Transfer the chops to a 9 x 9 in baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 1 hour. During last 15 minutes combine chicken broth, beef base, honey Dijon mustard and soy sauce in same skillet used for frying pork chops. Whisk 3 tablespoons flour with 1/4 cup cold water add to mixture to make sauce. Cook on medium heat until boiling. Boil for 1 minute.
- Cover pork chops with the sauce, replace foil and bake for about another 25 minutes.

<p><span style=color: #993366;>I live in the country near a small town</span>. <span style=color: #993366;>My husband is the love of my life. He's a good sport with my recipe experiments. Most of the time he likes what I make. I can always tell 'cause if he doesn't like it he won't go for seconds which he almost always does.</span></p>
<p><span style=color: #993366;>I have 2 stepsons that are all grown up. One is in college & the other is in the Army. I'm very proud of both of them. I love to bake but don't do it much anymore since there's only 2 of us.</span></p>
<p><span style=color: #993366;>I'm trying to cook a little more healthy. That can really be a challenge. I love the recipes on this site. So many ideas! The one thing I really don't like to do though is use low or no fat stuff. Most of it is just yucky!!<br /></span></p>
