Recipe by Sr. Magdala
This is a great recipe for lamb chops that are tender and tasty with a little bit of a bite from the spices. Easy to convert to your own tastes. Good using other cuts of lamb as well. You can easily cook 1 or 2 chops rather than 4. Great with rice.
- 4 lamb chops
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tablespoon dried red pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon sage
- 2 cups rice (optional)

- Pour water into a slow cooker. Add all spices and mix well. Add the Lamb Chops. Cook all day on Low temperature or 4 hours on high temperature.
- If you are going to cook rice to eat with thhis recipe use the juice from the slow cooker in your rice water or pour over rice after. Juice also makes a great gravy.
