Slow Cooked Pepper Steak

  1. Brown beef in cooking oil.
  2. Place in slow cooker, combine soy sauce, garlic, onions, salt, pepper and ginger.
  3. Pour over meat.
  4. Cover and cook on Low 5-6 hours.
  5. Add green pepper and tomatoes, 1 hour before serving.
  6. Combine water and cornstarch to make a paste.
  7. Stir into cooker.
  8. Cook on High until thickened, about 10 minutes.
  9. Serve over rice or noodles if desired.

When the weather is cool, nothing is better than putting something into the crock pot and smelling those aromas all day. This was very good. I used a 14oz can of diced tomatoes instead of the fresh tomatoes and low sodium soy sauce. Served over noodles - mmmmmm!

Yummy as can be! Thoroughly enjoyed this recipe! Used flank steak, personal taste! LOVE making in crockpot so do not have to baste! Served in a tortilla, rocket, tomato and feta! Honestly on the night, could not get better! THANKS!
