Scottish Oatmeal (Rice Cooker)

Adapted from the Bob's Red Mill package of Whole Grain Scottish Oatmeal. Scottish oatmeal is ground finer than steel-cut oats and is not flattened like rolled oats.


  1. Add water, salt and oatmeal to rice cooker. This can be done the night before. The soaked oatmeal will cook faster.
  2. Turn rice cooker on, or use the steam/cook setting.
  3. When rice cooker turns off, enjoy with honey or brown sugar and milk.
