- 85.04 g package zatarain's crab boil
- 1360.77 g shrimp, peeled and de-veined
- 236.59 ml onion, chopped
- 236.59 ml celery, chopped
- 236.59 ml green bell pepper, chopped
- 118.29 ml butter
- 473.18 ml cooked rice
- 118.29 ml water chestnut, drained and chopped
- 236.59 ml mayonnaise
- 236.59 ml v 8 vegetable juice
- 198.44 g can crabmeat, drained
- 236.59 ml cheddar cheese, shredded
- 118.29 ml slivered almonds
- 9.85 ml creole seasoning (Tony's)
- 2.46 ml paprika
directions
- Bring crab boil to a boil for 5 minutes; add shrimp and boil for 5-10 minutes until shrimp is pink. Remove from heat and drain.
- In a large skillet, sauté the onions, pepper and celery in the 1/2 cup butter.
- In a large bowl, combing the sautéed vegetables, rice, water chestnuts, mayonnaise and seasoning.
- Stir in V-8 juice, add crab meat and shrimp and mix well.
- Pour into a large casserole dish.
- Top with shredded cheese and almonds.
- Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
