From Cooking From the Heart by Sam Choy.
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1⁄2 cup onion, minced
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1⁄2 cup olive oil
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- Combine all ingredients and whisk until thoroughly blended.
This was a little sweeter than we like however everyone did eat in on their salad and enjoyed it. Made for Newest Zaar Tag.
