  1. The only change I made was to use cheddar cheese instead of parmesan. (I was out) I served it with Spanish Rice and we really enjoyed it. Thanks!

  2. This recipie was so easy to prepare and extremely delicious. I will make this again and again. It was a no brainer to put together. I had made chicken strips and then baked them and served them in a flour tortillia. I also had seasoned french fries and refried beans on the side. I added green onions on top of the sour cream. Thanks Inez.

  3. I needed something fast and easy. This was the ticket. From start to finish--on the table in 30 minutes. I used a mild salsa and added a little extra garlic. YUMMY!! Again, let me reiterate--fast and easy. Served with salad and green beans. Thanks Inez, sure do appreciate you.

  4. I love this recipe! I did modify it so that I could bake it in my crockpot. I just put frozen chicken breasts in the crockpot and dumped a jar of salsa on top. I didn't add cheese because I didn't have any and it was still really good. When it is cooked in the crockpot, it just falls apart by the end of the day so it is great for making a quick burrito, serving over rice or noodles, or just plain.

  5. Wow!! This is a easy dish to put together but it doesn't lack the flavor. I did six chicken breast halves and didn't have to double the recipe. I put some of the salsa on the bottom of my baking dish and poured the rest on top. I also marinated it for a couple of hours before putting it in the oven. Thanks for such a great recipe. I served it with Garlic Bow Tie Noodles #41599 and mixed vegetables.

Tweaks

  1. Quick, easy, and delicious! I used thigh fillets instead of chicken breasts (I just prefer dark meat). I added cilantro and chopped mango to a store-bought salsa, and it was great! I also used cheddar cheese instead of parmesan.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
