This recipes was really easy. I did peel apples first and then just used potato masher when done. It is really good. Thank you.

  1. Cut unpeeled but cored apples into chunks, place in large sauce pan.
  2. Add 1/2 inch of water.
  3. Stir in sugar, vanilla and cinnamon.
  4. Heat to boiling, reduce to low and simmer, covered, until apples soften (about 30 min.) Press through a fine sieve or the fine disc of a food mill.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  6. Refrigerate.
