  • Combine all ingredients in large mixer bowl.
  • Blend at low speed; beat 3 minutes at medium speed.
  • Pour into a greased and floured 12X8 inch pan.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
  • Frosting: Combine in mixer bowl and blend well.
  • Beat until thick and fluffy.

  1. I gave this 5 stars. My family really liked this cake. I have the same copy of this recipe I got off the internet. The cake was very good. The frosting had a good root beer taste. I think the cake could have had a stronger root beer flavor so next time I'm going to add some root beer extract to the batter. Thanks for posting a yummy recipe! Christine (internetnut)
