Romaine Strawberry Salad

ingredients
- 2 heads romaine lettuce
- 15 strawberries, sliced
- 1 small purple onion, sliced thin

Dressing
- 3⁄4 cup Hellmann's mayonnaise
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
directions
- combine the ingredients for the dressing and toss w/the lettuce, onions, strawberry's and serv.

This wonderful salad looks very pretty and tastes terrific! The dressing is mildly sweet and compliments the lettuce, strawberries (mine were sorta tart) and red onion well. I added a variety of baby greens from my spring garden with the romaine. My daughter and I really enjoyed the salad and plan to again soon ~ Thanks! -
Absolutly FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Haven't made a salad like this is about 10 years. I did leave out the onions because my son doesn't like them, but when he is not eating with us, I will sure add them in. This was simple and quick. Made the dressing ahead so when time to eat just had to shake, pour and mix. YUMMY I would give it more stars if I could. Thanx for a great reciepe.

I'm a mother to 5 boys ages 15-21, you could make that 6 boys if you add my husband. We have a "blended" family. This is the second marriage for both of us. I have 2 boys from the previous marraige and he has 3. Here's a picture of Jer(21 & shorter),Brandon(18,my 2), and my mom. I couldn't find a picture of the other 3 while smiling (they hide when I bring out the camera). I also work full time. Always looking for great/easy recipes. We have 3 cats, Susie, Dave and Ziggy. Chuck and Harry are the newest arrivals, puppy's. I forgot how much work they are. We love to go camping but never have the time. I also love to read but again, not enough time.
