The classic party mix has gone a little lighter! Conventional oven and microwave directions given.

  1. Heat oven to 250°F.
  2. Melt margarine in large roasting pan in oven.
  3. Stir in seasonings.
  4. Gradually stir in remaining ingredients until evenly coated.
  5. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool.
  6. Store in airtight container.
  7. Microwave Directions:.
  8. Melt margarine in large, microwavable bowl, uncovered, on high.
  9. Stir in seasonings.
  10. Gradually stir in remaining ingredients until evenly coated.
  11. Microwave uncovered on high for 5 minutes, thoroughly stirring every 2 minutes.
  12. Spread on paper towels to cool.
  13. Store in airtight container.
  14. Time is approximate, since microwaves vary.

This is a nice light party mix - only problem I had, is that I found the crispy rice cereal too small for the mix (maybe I took the wrong cereals?) - would use different kind of cereals next time. Tasted good and very easy to prepare! Used recipe #257521 for the bagel chips. Thanks Annacia! :)
