This is pretty fool-proof. Great use of the microwave and tastes good. You may use any vegetables you have available, fresh or frozen.
- 1 (20 ounce) package frozen vegetables (peas, broccoli, carrots or whatever)
- 1⁄2 cup powdered coffee creamer
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1⁄3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 dash pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granule
- 1 cup hot water
- Mix dry ingredients.
- Sprinkle over veggies.
- Add hot water.
- Stir well and cook for 8 minutes on Full Power.
- Stir halfway through.
I really loved this recipe. I did not have the granuels so instead of water I used 1 cup of chicken broth. This was realy easy and tasted so good. Thank you.
I used this recipe to clean out the vegetable bin. I had small amounts of broccoli, cauliflower, fresh green beans and baby carrots. I cut the carrots in thirds, so they would get tender. I added 1t minced garlic. This was a really good side dish! Gave the veggies some life! Loved the Parmesan flavor.
Quick and easy recipe. The flavor was okay but it was kind of watery. It didn't thicken at all so the veggies just kind of sat in it. Did anyone else run into this?
