As the description says, this is a good basic meatloaf recipe. I did make a couple changes...I used cubed bread instead of oatmeal (I'm not crazy about the texture of meatloaf with oatmeal in it) and I topped the meatloaf with a mixture of ketchup, dried mustard and brown sugar. Comfort food at its best. Leftovers made great meatloaf sandwiches. Made for PAC Fall 2012.

When I'm not outdoors playing softball, golfing, hunting, biking, etc., you can find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes! I love to cook! However, baking is not my forte ): I also love spending time with my daughter Lacey (17 months), husband Frank and "the Lou dog"! We're crazy about hanging outdoors so we head to the cottage or camp almost every weekend.

<br>It gets pretty cold in northern Michigan so I especially like cooking soups, roasts and anything with venison! I'll try any recipe once - sometimes it's a hit and sometimes a disaster. That is what I love about Recipe Zaar, rated recipes and tons of ideas!
