ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 cup white sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1⁄4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
- 1 cup milk
directions
- in large bowl measure all seven dry ingredients.
- stir thoroughly.
- make a well in the center.
- in a small bowl beat egg till frothy.
- mix in melted butter and milk.
- stir just to moisten.
- scrape into greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.
- bake at 350 for one hour.
