Been working or shopping all day??? Buy a rotisserie chicken and make a quick meal. This gravy goes well over sliced chicken and stuffing. Just add a vegetable for a fast meal!

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, while stirring, heat soup until hot. Add milk and sour cream. Remove from heat and serve.

I dropped a couple of tablespoons of sherry into this to try and give it a more interesting, less "soupy" taste. I'd still want to doctor it up a bit more next time with maybe a couple of herbs to try and punch up the taste......I give it 4 stars (3 for taste, 5 for convenience). Intersted in others thoughts for possible modifications....definitely easy !!

Since COM soup is so salty, I used the low sodium. We enjoyed this over our roasted chicken. Thanks!

this recipie is exactly what it appears to be, fast easy and delicious. I like my gravy to be thinner so i used 2 cans of mushroom soup, 1 cup of skim milk, and 3 tablespoons of sour cream. I served it up on pillsbury's flaky biscuits! YUM
