- 1Using a vegetable peeler, cut the pumpkin into very thin slices.
- 2Pour oil to depth of 4 inches into a dutch oven (or a fryer if you wish) Heat to 375 degrees.
- 3Fry slices in batches about 3 mins or until crisp.
- 4Drain and sprinkle with salt, if desired.
