- 709.77 ml flour (I use 1 cup whole wheat pastry, 2 cups white all purpose)
- 236.59 ml white sugar
- 236.59 ml brown sugar
- 14.78 ml baking soda
- 4.92 ml salt
- 118.29 ml sour cream
- 473.18 ml pumpkin puree
- 4 eggs
- 118.29 ml water
- 236.59 ml vegetable oil
- 4.92 ml ground nutmeg
- 2.46 ml ground cloves
- 9.85 ml cinnamon
- 236.59 ml crushed walnuts
directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and oil either one large bread pan or two smaller ones.
- Combine dry ingredients except spices in large bowl. Then, blend remaining ingredients, except nuts, in separate bowl. Combine wet mixture with dry mixture, but don't over mix, or the bread will be tough. Some lumps are to be expected. Pour or spoon into bread pans. Bake between one hour, twenty minutes, and one and a half hours, until a skewer sunk into the loaf's center comes out clean.
