Pork Guisantes (Filipino Pork and Peas)

"From www.foodnetwork.com, the best that I've ever made. I love the flavor from the patis (fish sauce). I also add red and or green bell pepper for the color and taste. Pretty Christmas color dish!"

  1. Super easy and tasty weeknight meal. I added zucchini to the mix (plus extra water and extra simmer time). You can skip the tomato paste for an even simpler version.

  2. it was good! Served it with steamed rice and it was a great dinner!

I'd love to be a better cook. My husband is a very picky eater... if he could eat hotdogs and hamburgers all day he'd be just fine. I on the other hand would love to get him and my 19 month old son more interested in Japanese, Thai, Filipino and other very tasty and flavorful foods... not to mention COLOR!
